Whizdom

By the legendary NRHA sire "Topsail Whiz" and out of the great cutting mare, "Lady Wont Smoke" by Bright Smoke by Mr Gun Smoke.

Whizdom has proven himself as a sire, producing sound, athletic, correct, versatile offspring.

Whizdom is the package that every breeder dreams of!
He has the breeding, talent, heart, longevity and a golden mind. 
Whizdom has proven to duplicate himself in his offspring.



In 2001 and 2002 Whizdom won all three open divisions, becoming the only horse in the history of the Montana Reining Horse Association to do so.
In 2003, with 9 state championships and 3 regional titles to our credit, we went to Oklahoma to compete against the "Big Boys."  I am very proud to say that we won the Intermediate Open Division showing against 71 of the toughest horse and rider teams in the country.  Next, we showed in the Open Division against million dollar riders where we placed 5th.
At that time I made the decision to retire Whizdom and gave him a well earned rest.  But like so many other over achievers, retirement didn't agree with  Whizdom and he got bored and grumpy.
So at the age of 12 and a clean bill of health from two veterinarians, Whizdom returned to the showpen and earned 3 more state titles in 2008, proving that he still has what it takes to be a champion.
Whizdom's get have proven themselves to have very trainable minds and tremendously sound, athletic bodys.  They are being used as reiners, rope horses, trail horses, cow horses, kids horses, jumping horses and dressage horses.
